Health & Safety Policy Statement
The safety and wellbeing of our young drivers, their families, and our staff is our highest priority. We are committed to providing a safe, controlled, and positive learning environment where students can build confidence behind the wheel. This policy outlines our commitment and the measures we take to ensure every experience is as safe as it is enjoyable.
Our Commitments:
Vehicles & Equipment:
All our vehicles are modern, fully insured, and maintained to the highest standards.
Each car is equipped with dual controls, allowing our instructors to intervene immediately and safely if required.
Daily safety checks are performed on all vehicles before the start of any driving session, including checks of tyres, brakes, and fluid levels.
Our Instructors:
All our instructors are Approved Driving Instructors (ADI) or hold equivalent qualifications, and are fully vetted.
Every instructor has undergone an enhanced DBS check.
The Driving Environment:
All lessons take place on a private, off-road circuit, completely free from public traffic.
The driving area is clearly marked, with designated areas for specific manoeuvres and a safe viewing area for spectators.
We enforce strict site rules, including a speed limit, to ensure a controlled environment.
Participant Safety:
A full safety briefing is provided to every participant before they get behind the wheel.
Participants are required to wear appropriate footwear (flat, enclosed shoes) for safe control of the vehicle.
We reserve the right to end a session if a participant is not following the instructor's directions in a safe manner.
Emergency Procedures:
We have a documented procedure for handling any incidents or emergencies.
All staff are aware of the location of first aid equipment and emergency contact protocols.
We regularly review our safety policies and procedures to ensure we are always operating to the highest standard. If you have any questions about our commitment to safety, please do not hesitate to contact us.
